About Big Lens & Hickingbotham

Big Lens Photography features the work of Deven Hickingbotham who has loved making pictures since grade school. Deven is an award winning photographer who has had his work published in national magazines and newspapers. He has a wide range of photography interests, but his commercial work concentrates on sports photography. Deven has attended the highly acclaimed Sports Photography Workshop in Colorado Springs, Colorado, and had his work reviewed by nationally recognized photographers including Dave Black, Joey Terrill, Flip Nicklin, and Ralph Lee Hopkins.

Why Big Lens?

This web site shares two URL's or names, biglens.com and hickingbotham.com. Biglens.com is easy to remember and spell, so it is the simplest way to get to this site. Additionally, if you've ever seen me photographing an event, you'll know why biglens.com makes so much sense. Hickingbotham.com is who I am, but the name is not particularly easy to spell.
