Deven Hickingbotham's "Mountaintops in Clouds" won first place in the 2011 Palo Alto Photo Contest sponsored by the Palo Alto Weekly. The photo was made on 12/28/09 from the top of the Lincoln Express lift at Sugar Bowl ski resort looking toward Donner Lake. Clouds obscured the lake and surrounding valley, but the mountaintops peeked through creating an eerie image of the peaks seemingly floating in clouds. Purchase.
Deven's photo, along with other award winning photos, were on display at the Palo Alto City Hall and were featured on paloaltoonline.com.
